About Agent-Dev
Agent-Dev is an Agentic Product Delivery Platform: an AI-Agent-driven product engineering and delivery control platform.
As AI dramatically lowers the cost of code production, the bottleneck of product delivery shifts toward tech selection, account connection, env vars, permissions, CI, Preview, production release, acceptance, and long-term maintenance. Agent-Dev's goal is not to generate more code, but to give AI-generated software trustworthy delivery capability.
The user owns product goals, experience, and key trade-offs; Agent-Dev turns those decisions into a shippable, verifiable, maintainable engineering system.
What Agent-Dev is not
- A replacement for Codex or Claude Code
- A source-code-only app builder
- A template-only scaffolder
- A pipeline-only ops platform
- An Agent wrapper that relies on chat history for state
Agent-Dev's minimum unit of management is the product lifecycle, not a single task, PR, or repository.
Commercial model
Open specs and commercial execution, layered:
- Open/source: Blueprint Schema, module format, Adapter interfaces, base Runner
- Paid: hosted control plane, hosted Runtime, Secret governance, teams, audit, auto-fix, continuous maintenance
- Early stage: product initialization service + tool subscription
- Later: personal subscription, team seats, usage quota, enterprise self-hosted
